Day-by-Day Itinerary
Phase 1: The Satpura Wilderness & Misty Heights

Day 1-2: Madhai (2 Nights)

Arrival: Transfer from Itarsi (90 mins) or Bhopal (3.5 hrs).

Activity: Enjoy a unique boat safari or a night safari (Satpura is one of the few places that offers this). Focus on sloth bears, leopards, and crocodiles.

Day 3-5: Pachmarhi (3 Nights)

Transfer: A short 3-hour drive from Madhai.

Highlights: Visit Bee Falls, Jata Shankar Caves, and Pandav Caves. Spend an evening at Dhoopgarh (the highest point in MP) for a spectacular sunset.

Phase 2: The Tiger Heartland

Day 6-7: Kanha National Park (2 Nights)

Transfer: A long drive (approx. 7–8 hours). Start early.

Experience: Known for its open meadows. Look for the Barasingha (Swamp Deer), which is found only here, along with the Royal Bengal Tiger.

Day 8-9: Bandhavgarh National Park (2 Nights)

Transfer: Approx. 5–6 hours from Kanha.

Experience: Bandhavgarh has the highest density of tigers in India. Explore the Tala and Magadhi zones. If time permits, see the 2000-year-old Bandhavgarh Fort.

Phase 3: The Marble City

Day 10: Jabalpur (1 Night)

Transfer: 4-hour drive from Bandhavgarh.

Highlights: Evening at Bhedaghat for the Marble Rocks boat ride and the thunderous Dhuandhar Falls.

Transfer to Jabalpur Airport or Railway Station for your journey home.

Safari Bookings: Ensure you book your safaris 120 days in advance via the MP Forest department website, especially for Kanha and Bandhavgarh.

Connectivity: Mobile signals can be spotty in Madhai and Kanha; Pachmarhi and Jabalpur have excellent 5G coverage.

Wednesday Closures: Most National Parks in MP are closed for safaris on Wednesday afternoons. Plan your transfers accordingly.
