Overview
That sounds like a fantastic "Heart of India" loop! You are covering the best of Madhya Pradesh’s wildlife (Satpura & Kanha), hill stations (Pachmarhi), and historical wonders (Khajuraho, Orchha, Gwalior).
To make this 11-night itinerary logical, I recommend a South-to-North route, starting in Bhopal (closest to Madhai) and ending in Gwalior (well-connected by rail/air).

💡 Quick Tips for your Trip
-
Safari Bookings: Book your Kanha and Madhai safaris at least 90–120 days in advance via the MP Forest department website. They sell out fast!
-
Best Way to Move: Hiring a dedicated Innova/XUV for the entire 12-day circuit is the most comfortable option, as public transport between national parks is infrequent.
-
The "Long Stretch": The drive from Pachmarhi to Kanha is your longest day. Start by 7:00 AM to reach your Kanha resort by tea time.
-
Food: Don't miss the Poha-Jalebi in the mornings and the Bhutte ka Kees if you're traveling during the corn season.
