Days 1–2: Bhopal (The City of Lakes)

  • Day 1: Arrive in Bhopal. Spend the evening at the Upper Lake (Bada Talab) for a boat ride or a stroll at VIP Road. Visit the Taj-ul-Masajid, one of the largest mosques in Asia.

  • Day 2: Take a day excursion to Sanchi Stupa (UNESCO site). In the afternoon, explore the Tribal Museum or Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, which offers a fascinating look at India’s indigenous cultures.

Days 3–5: Pachmarhi (Queen of Satpura)

  • Day 3: Depart for Pachmarhi (approx. 200 km). En route, stop at the Bhojpur Temple and the Bhimbetka Rock Shelters (UNESCO site).

  • Day 4: Explore the natural wonders: Bee Falls, Pandav Caves, and the deep ravine of Handi Khoh. End the day with a stunning sunset at Dhupgarh, the highest point in Madhya Pradesh.

  • Day 5: Visit spiritual and scenic spots like Jata Shankar, Mahadev Caves, and Gupt Mahadev. Spend a relaxed evening by the Pachmarhi Lake.

Days 6–7: Kanha National Park (Tiger Territory)

  • Day 6: Drive to Kanha (approx. 340 km / 7-8 hours). Check into a jungle resort and enjoy a quiet evening listening to the sounds of the forest.

  • Day 7: Dedicate the day to wildlife. Conduct a Morning and Evening Safari to spot the Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopards, and the famous Barasingha (Swamp Deer), which is unique to this park.

Day 8: Amarkantak (The Teerthraj)

  • Day 8: Drive to Amarkantak (approx. 170 km). Visit the Narmada Kund, the origin point of the holy Narmada River. Explore the Ancient Temples of the Kalachuri period and the majestic Kapildhara and Dugdhdhara Waterfalls.

Day 9: Jabalpur (Marble Wonders)

  • Day 9: Head to Jabalpur (approx. 250 km). The highlight is Bhedaghat, where you can take a boat ride between towering marble cliffs on the Narmada River. Visit the roaring Dhuandhar Falls and the 10th-century Chausath Yogini Temple.

Days 10–11: Khajuraho (Architectural Marvel)

  • Day 10: Drive to Khajuraho (approx. 260 km). In the evening, attend the Light and Sound Show at the temple complex, which narrates the history of the Chandela dynasty.

  • Day 11: Explore the Western Group of Temples (including the Kandariya Mahadev) and the Eastern Group. After a half-day tour, depart for your onward journey via Khajuraho Airport or Mahoba/Jhansi Railway Station.
