This 3-day spiritual and heritage circuit through the heart of Madhya Pradesh is perfectly designed to cover two of the twelve Jyotirlingas along with the scenic "City of Lakes."
The following overview outlines a seamless 3-night itinerary starting from Bhopal and concluding at the major travel hub of Indore.
Tour Itinerary Overview
Day 1: Arrival in Bhopal (The City of Lakes)

Arrival: Pickup from Bhopal Junction or Raja Bhoj Airport. Check into your hotel.

Sightseeing: * Upper Lake (Bhojtal): Enjoy a peaceful boat ride or a walk at VIP Road.

Van Vihar National Park: An open zoo right next to the lake, perfect for cycling.

Moti Masjid & Taj-ul-Masajid: Explore the stunning Islamic architecture of one of Asia’s largest mosques.

Tribal Museum: Highly recommended for its immersive and artistic displays of local culture.

Stay: Overnight in Bhopal.
Day 2: Bhopal to Ujjain (The Holy City of Mahakal)

Morning: Early breakfast and drive to Ujjain (approx. 190 km / 4 hours).

Optional: Stop at the Sanchi Stupa (UNESCO World Heritage Site) if you start very early, though it adds 1.5 hours.

Afternoon: * Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga: Visit for Darshan. Note that the famous Bhasma Aarti requires advance booking.

Mahakal Lok Corridor: Walk through the massive, beautifully lit spiritual plaza.

Evening: Visit Harsiddhi Temple (one of the 51 Shaktipeeths) and attend the evening lamp-lighting ceremony. Explore Ram Ghat on the banks of the Shipra River.

Stay: Overnight in Ujjain.
Day 3: Ujjain to Omkareshwar (The Sacred Island)

Morning: Visit Kal Bhairav Temple (where liquor is offered to the deity) and Sandipani Ashram. Drive to Omkareshwar (approx. 140 km / 3.5 hours).

Afternoon: * Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga: Take a boat across the Narmada River to the island shaped like the "Om" symbol.

Mamleshwar Temple: Located on the opposite bank; traditionally, the pilgrimage is incomplete without visiting both.

Evening: Relax at the Narmada Ghats or take a boat ride to witness the evening Aarti.

Stay: Overnight in Omkareshwar.
Day 4: Departure via Indore

Morning: After breakfast, drive to Indore (approx. 80 km / 2 hours).

Indore Sightseeing: If time permits, visit Rajwada Palace or the Khajrana Ganesh Temple.

Departure: Drop-off at Indore Airport or Railway Station for your return journey.
