📍 City-Wise Breakdown
1. Jabalpur & Kanha (Wildlife & Nature)

  • Jabalpur: Start here. Don't miss the boating at Bhedaghat between the marble cliffs—it’s ethereal.

  • Kanha National Park: About a 4-hour drive from Jabalpur. Ensure you book your safari permits weeks in advance. It’s one of the most well-managed tiger reserves in the world.

2. Pachmarhi (The Hill Station)

  • The only hill station in MP. It’s best explored by hiring a local open-top Gypsy. Dhoopgarh is the highest point in Central India and offers a killer sunset.

3. Bhopal & The UNESCO Trail

  • Bhopal: The "City of Lakes." Before reaching the city, stop at Bhimbetka (30,000-year-old rock art) and Bhojpur. In the city, visit the Taj-ul-Masajid, one of the largest mosques in Asia.

4. The Spiritual Triangle (Ujjain, Omkareshwar, Mandu)

  • Ujjain: Deeply spiritual. If you want to attend the Bhasm Aarti, you must register online in advance.

  • Omkareshwar: The island is shaped like the symbol 'Om'.

  • Mandu: Known as the "City of Joy." It’s an ancient fortress city with Afghan architecture that inspired the Taj Mahal.

5. Indore (The Grand Finale)

  • The cleanest city in India! Spend your final evening at Chappan Dukan or Sarafa Bazaar for a world-class street food experience.

💡 Travel Pro-Tips

  • Best Time: October to March is perfect. Kanha is closed during the monsoon (July–Sept).

  • Transportation: Hiring a private cab for the entire circuit is the most comfortable way to navigate the long distances (like the 7-hour stretch from Kanha to Pachmarhi).

  • Food: Try Poha-Jalebi in Indore and Bhutte ka Kees.
