Detailed Itinerary
Phase 1: Malwa Heritage & Spirituality
- Night 1: Indore
- Arrive and check in. Evening visit to Rajwada Palace and the famous Sarafa Bazaar or Chappan Dukan for Indore’s iconic street food.
- Night 2: Mandu (City of Joy)
- Drive to Mandu (approx. 95 km). Explore the Afghan architectural marvels: Jahaz Mahal (Ship Palace), Rani Roopmati Pavilion, and Hoshang Shah’s Tomb.
- Night 3: Omkareshwar
- Travel to Omkareshwar (approx. 110 km). Visit the Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga on the Mandhata island and take a serene boat ride on the Narmada River.
- Night 4: Ujjain (The Holy City)
- Morning drive to Ujjain (approx. 140 km). Experience the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, explore the Mahakal Lok Corridor, and visit Kal Bhairav Temple and Ram Ghat.
Phase 2: Lakes & Ancient History
- Night 5: Bhopal
- Drive to the "City of Lakes" (approx. 190 km). Visit the Upper & Lower Lakes, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, and the grand Taj-ul-Masajid.
Phase 3: The Queen of Satpura
- Nights 6, 7, & 8: Pachmarhi
- Travel: Drive from Bhopal to Pachmarhi (approx. 200 km). En route, stop at the Bhimbetka Rock Shelters (UNESCO site) and Bhojpur Temple.
- Activities: Spend three nights exploring the hill station. Key spots include Bee Falls, Pandav Caves, Jatashankar, Handi Khoh, and a sunset at Dhoopgarh (the highest point in MP).
Phase 4: Wilderness & Marble Cliffs
- Nights 9 & 10: Kanha National Park
- Travel: A long scenic drive (approx. 340 km / 7-8 hours) to one of India’s finest tiger reserves.
- Activities: Enjoy morning and afternoon Jeep Safaris to spot Tigers, Barasingha (Swamp Deer), and leopards. Experience tribal village walks in the evening.
- Night 11: Jabalpur
- Drive to Jabalpur (approx. 165 km). Visit the stunning Bhedaghat to see the Marble Rocks and the thunderous Dhuandhar Falls. Enjoy a boat ride under the moonlight if timing permits.
