Day 1: Pickup from Bhopal – Visit Sanchi – Transfer to Madhai

After your arrival at Bhopal railway station or airport, our driver will welcome you and help you with your luggage. Your journey will begin towards Madhai (Satpura National Park), but on the way, we’ll take you to visit the famous Sanchi Stupa – a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its ancient Buddhist architecture. You can explore the Stupa complex and take photos. Our driver will also share some local information.

After your Sanchi visit, continue your drive towards Madhai. Enjoy the scenic views of hills, forests, and small villages on the way. You can stop for tea or snacks during the journey.

By afternoon or evening, you will reach Madhai. Check in to your pre-booked jungle resort (booked by My MP Tour). After check-in, freshen up – a tasty lunch or evening snacks (based on arrival time) will be waiting for you. After that, you can walk around the resort and enjoy the peaceful riverside forest area of Satpura.

In the evening, take an early dinner and rest – next morning you have to wake up early for the jungle safari.

Day 2: Jungle Safari in Satpura Tiger Reserve (Madhai Gate)

Early morning, our team will wake you up so you can get ready for the safari. We’ll pack breakfast for you, which you can enjoy at the tea point during the safari.

The morning safari from Madhai Gate is a peaceful and beautiful experience. You may spot animals like sambar, wild boar, sloth bear, Indian bison (gaur), and if you’re lucky – a tiger or leopard. Satpura is also famous for birds, river views, and calm forest zones. Don’t worry – your guide will be there with you during the full safari.

After the safari, return to the resort and enjoy your lunch. In the evening, get ready for the second round of jungle safari. You will explore another zone of the forest – the evening light and jungle sounds make it a unique experience.

After safari, come back to the resort, have dinner, and enjoy your night stay in the middle of nature.

Day 3: Madhai to Bhopal – Visit Bhimbetka – Drop

After breakfast, check out from the resort and start your return journey to Bhopal. On the way, we will stop at Bhimbetka Rock Shelters – another UNESCO site. Here, you can see ancient cave paintings that are thousands of years old. It’s a quiet, historical place surrounded by forest rocks and hills.

After the Bhimbetka visit, continue the drive to Bhopal. Our driver will drop you at Bhopal railway station or airport as per your schedule.

Best Time to Visit Madhai

Best time is from October to June. For tiger sightings, March to June is better. During monsoon (July to mid-October), the park is closed.
